The difference between CareSite Specialty Rx and other pharmacies is how much we care, it’s in our name and it’s what we do. CareSite Specialty Rx is more flexible than those large pharmacies, when you partner with CareSite Specialty Rx; it saves your office and your patient’s valuable time at no additional cost.
There are no additional costs for the extra services that CareSite Specialty Rx provides; we feel it is imperative to the success of the patients to provide these services. The only cost is the patient co-pay for specialty medications assigned by the patient’s insurance provider.
All our patients’ medications are delivered via courier or shipped overnight using a national carrier to either the patient’s home or the physician’s office, as directed by the physician. As a due diligence step, before shipping the medication, each patient will receive a call to confirm payment and delivery details.
CareSite Specialty Rx will make every attempt to fill each specialty prescription we receive. A small percentage of them will have to be sent to another specialty pharmacy that is specific to the patient’s prescription insurance coverage, but we will never send a prescription back to the office. We will send it immediately to where it needs to go and then inform the physician’s office and the patient of where and when it was sent.
CareSite Specialty Rx staff includes experts in payment assistance programs utilizing support groups, patient assistance programs, and pharmaceutical companies to help patients with their co-pays. This is done on an individual basis; where the assistance comes from and how it is applied for usually depends on demographic information, diagnosis and medication.
